The truth is I never wanted this business.

 

Just a few years ago I remember looking at my career, my body, my emotional state and thinking, "How could I let this happen?" My job was a place of torment, my weight was at an all time high and I was overcome with anxiety more often than not. Somehow my life looked nothing like I had envisioned and I had no idea what I could do about it.

 

In a moment of total desperation I asked God what He wanted from me and He pointed me to the very thing I was trying to escape - fundraising.

 

I wish I could say I leaned in voluntarily, but the truth is I had no other options. Shortly after leaning in I found myself experiencing more abundance in my life than I could have imagined. My anxiety was gone, I was healthier than ever before, and I was able to leave my job and build a thriving business serving others.
